‘I was first introduced to Naree when I was training my young horse. She helped me turn Prince from a disrespectful and potentially dangerous animal into a quiet and respectful young horse!

I was trying to train Prince using Natural Horsemanship principles but was struggling to adapt the written word into successful horsemanship practice. Naree was the perfect teacher as she understood what it was I was trying to achieve and helped me understand on a bigger scale how I was affecting Prince for life.

‘I’ve attended weekend horsemanship clinics and found them to be immensely challenging, educational, and fun. I’d had some instruction with Naree previously and thoroughly enjoyed her style, and her great attention to the problems of the individual rider and horse.

The two day clinics give the horse and rider a better chance to absorb the ideas and techniques presented and to kick-start your training with your horse. I learned a lot by watching others in the group and sharing ideas and stories with the other riders. Naree provided a great level of instruction, with individual tips for everyone and a good balance of individual and group demonstrations.

I found the clinics a great way to further my training and understanding of ground handling and riding and to get away from it all and enjoy a great time, good food and great company.’

‘I purchased my horse Bonny from Naree almost 3 years ago. Bonny has been a dream to work with, the training she received from Naree has created a respectful horse that is a joy to ride……….

My daughter, son and I have had lessons from Naree learning about horsemanship as well as how to better our riding technique. Naree’s tuition is calm, re-assuring as well as being honest and precise. My daughter started receiving lessons from Naree at 4 years of age on her own pony and absolutely loves every minute of her lesson. Naree believes safety is paramount when handling and riding horses and I could not wish for a better start to my daughters riding experience.

We have had to do a lot of retraining work with our pony to get her to a level that my daughter (now 6) can safely ride. Throughout the lessons, Naree is constantly working with both pony and rider to ensure both are performing to their best ability and no bad habits are developing.

Naree has assisted us with saddle fitting, floating, retraining, riding instruction, and horsemanship skills. I couldn’t recommend Naree’s services more if you are serious about learning to ride and handle your horse in a calm, safe and effective manner.’

‘Kelly started with Naree nearly 2 years ago. We knew nothing about Natural Horsemanship then, but have seen that the way Naree teaches the kids to read horse body language, means they understood how the horse is thinking and feeling, and this gives them much more control.

The school holiday camps are fantastic. The kids are taught to look after the horses, which is just as important as the actual riding. To see my daughter so enthusiastically picking up horse poo and doing all the maintenance for the horse helped us decide to buy her one of her own. They also have so much fun and form some great friendships.

This is the best, safest, most informative way of learning horse riding. We all get so much out of it. Anyone who is interested in horses and lessons should really give it a go. For us there is no other way.’

‘About 2.5 years ago I was looking for a riding establishment for my daughter, Kira, that approached things a bit differently. I struck luck!

I most appreciate the way Naree teaches that safety is a big issue and it is taken very seriously.

Kira has learnt the horse’s language, how to get in tune with the horse, to gain the horse’s respect, but most importantly, to be the one in charge. It has given her a lot of confidence.

There seems to be some life lessons thrown into the teaching as well. The kids learn to take responsibility for their own actions. For instance when the horse doesn’t react the way it is supposed to do, it is usually not the horse but the message that was given. So very true for life as well. Instead of blaming others or situations, we must first look at ourselves.

To sum up, it is all about trust. And I have plenty of that in Naree.’

‘When my daughter started horse riding lessons with Naree, I was excessively anxious due to my innate fear of horses and horse riding…………

My fear diminished somewhat as I watched these lessons each week and realised that my daughter was in the best and safest hands that I could wish for. Her riding ability developed greatly, and our knowledge of natural horsemanship developed…………

Facing my fears ……….. I began riding lessons with Naree. I felt sick to the stomach while driving to my first lesson, but by the time i was half way through the lesson, due to the encouragement and calmness that Naree displayed, I felt great.

Naree was able to help me to understand the way horses behave and respond to their environment, and how a human can have a very positive relationshiop with a horse……. at the same time as learning excellent riding skills. I believe with the continued support and endless knowledge that Naree provides, I will soon have the confidence and ability to ride independently and continue to strengthen my experience with these awe inspiring animals’
